Based on over 85 years of experience, WALTER AG is a worldwide leading manufacturer of metal cutting tools. Founded in 1919 by Richard Walter, the company consists of the Tübingen based headquarters and 25 sales and production companies. Current sales amount to almost 250m EUR.

The WALTER AG workforce is about 900 in Germany and nearly 1,800 worldwide. Large internationally leading companies are among Walter’s customers, as well as small and medium-sized companies from the car industry and its suppliers, aerospace industry, power generation industry, OEM sector, mould and die making industry and engineering industry
