The Vertical Turning Centers ROMI VTL 500R, ROMI VTL 500MR, ROMI VTL 700R and ROMI VTL 700MR were designed to operate in medium and high production. They are equipped with robust structure, providing rigidity, stability, accuracy and versatility in machining processes of different types of chuck parts Main Features Base and column with robust design, made of cast iron, designed to support heavy loads and to absorb vibrations deriving from the most severe machining conditions at full power. It holds the motorization and headstock sets. T type turret, servo driven with hydraulic clamping, with 12-station ROMI standard disc for fixed tools (ROMI VTL 500R / ROMI VTL 700R). M type turret, servo driven with hydraulic clamping, with 12-station BMT-65 standard disc for fixed and driven tools (ROMI VTL 500MR / ROMI VTL 700MR). Column and cross slide (provided) are equipped with robust guides that offer high rigidity and load capacity, designed to support heavy loads machining. They are able to develop rapid travel up to 30 m / min. Work area with optimal chip evacuation and efficient cleaning system CNC Siemens Sinumerik 828D with 10.4” LCD color, USB and Ethernet interface for factory networking, offering great flexibility for programs and parameters loading.
