Moore Tool 500 Series (CPZ and CPWZ) Jig Grinder The 500 is available in two models (CPZ and CPWZ) to address your specific ultra-precision requirements. These multi-axis, CNC-controlled jig grinding machines provide continuous path contouring capability for the generation of complex two- and three-dimensional features. CPZ A six-axis CNC-controlled machine with a controlled vertical Z-axis, which allows fine programmed depth control in addition to standard CP capabilities. The accurate depth control simplifies shoulder and bottom grinding, taper grinding, and wipe grinding with a formed wheel. CPWZ A six-axis CNC-controlled machine with full 3-dimension capabilities in addition to standard CPZ capabilities. The W axis permits 3-dimensional forms to get generated in addition to the traditional jig grinding operation.
