Mitsubishi M-H60E MITSUBISHI M-HE SERIES HORIZONTAL MACHINING CENTER The M-H60En, is a high precision, high rigidity, high reliability machining center. Spindle Features include: High Quality Spindle with Low Vibration for maintaining high accuracy finishing. Spindle width is increased for more rigidity. The distance between the spindle face and the front bearing is minimized for more rigidity. Speed and Power Features: The standard robust 4.72" diameter No. 50 taper spindle, with its outstanding high power and high torque, makes fast heavy duty machining possible. A 6,000, 3,200 or 12,000 RPM spindle provide the ideal conditions for most applications. Acceleration to 6,000 RPM takes on 3 seconds and 12,000 RPM takes 5.4 seconds. High Reliability Features: Dynamic FEM analysis has been used in the design of the column, headstock, table and bed. The bed is of solid one-piece structure. The column and headstock are rugged box-type cast structures that have thick walls which are heavily ribbed. Linear Roller Guides are used on the guideways of all axes. The wide guideways increase stablity to enable quick and accurate response. Overall rigidity of the preloaded roller guideway system exceeds that of conventional box way systems. Table Features: The rotary table is equipped with a significantly larger diameter coupling. The larger coupling increases rigidity and improves indexing accuracy and stabilizes machining accuracy. High Precision Machining Features: Thermal displacement compensation (TDC) is a standard feature. TDC maintains thermal displacement within +/-0.0004" during an entire day of operation. Warm-up time is therefore minimized. All axes are equipped with the high performance MP Scale feedback system. Repeatability is +/-0.00003" in the full axis travel. Positioning accuracy is +/-0.00006" in the full axis travel. Positioning accuracy of the pallet changer is maintained with two positioning pins in the Z and X axes direction and six locating pads in the Y axis direction. Pallet changer repeatability is +/-0.0002" Reduction of Non-Cutting Time Features: High rapid traverse rates of 945 ipm (M-H60/80) and 1575 ipm (M-H100) provide highest speeds in class to improve throughput. Top Cutting feeds are the same as the rapid rates. Even with heavy tools, tool change time, chip to chip is only 8 seconds. APC time to change pallets is 20, 45 and 54 seconds for the M-H60, M-H80 and M-H100 models, respectively.
