The EDNC21 machine features a unique twin head configuration that enables independent programming and execution of different part features at the same time, which can significantly impacts throughput. Even with its large size, the EDNC21 machine is capable of achieving high positional and feature accuracy with fine surface finishes. The precise and rigid construction utilizes a stationary worktable design that positions the dual gantry-style heads over the work piece, and can be equipped with dual high speed HS-Rib Z-Axis heads with 20m/min jump speeds for optimal cycle time and low electrode wear. The EDNC21 is configured with two independent Hyper-i control systems that provides user-friendly and streamlined graphical interface with 24” wide high definition touch screens, and supports the needs of the operator through the integrated EDM Assist (on-board digital manuals and training system) and advanced E-Tech Doctor help functions.
