The two bi-directional 500 mm X 500 mm pallets equipped with Hirth couplings, each with a 1320-lb. carrying capacity, are 1-degree indexable with a servo mot or controllable through the CNC, thus providing the flexibility to precisely machine a wide variety of prismatic parts. The pallets are switched within a fast 8 seconds. With greater flexibility, users will want more tools, so the BULLDOG H-450 comes with a standard servo driven, easily accessible, 24-position tool changer. GE Fanuc CNC and 15-HP AC brushless servo motors deliver the power and positioning dependability you need. A hand-held manual pulse generator improves operator efficiency and helps reduce setup time. Positioning accuracy of �.0002" (�.0050 mm) with a generous work envelope easily meets the machining requirements for most prismatic parts. Even the heaviest cutting is accomplished with the 15-HP (11 kw) spindle drives and cutting speeds up to 600 IPM (15.24 mpm). Add optional rigid tapping and coolant through the spindle for greater productivity.
