Mikron HSM 600U The HSM 600U is a vertical 5-axis high-speed machining centre of portal design. The HSM 600U allows high-precision 5-axis simultaneous machining in high-speed mode for tool and mould making, for the production of electrodes or also for the production of precision in small to medium batch sizes. However, thanks to its rigid structure and its motor spindles with their powerful torque it is also suitable for roughing work as well as finest finishing. The HSM 600U can thus be employed for the finishing of workpieces to be machined on 5 sides and 5-axes simultaneously. The highlight of this machine is the high-speed swivel table with direct drive.
