NTC Vertical Machining Center Model N4V Features excellent cutting performance, high accuracy, high speeds and low maintenance. One-piece configuration saves floor space. Includes user-friendly Fanuc 21iMB CNC. The NTC N4V CNC Vertical Machining Center continues NTC's development of outstanding machining centers. The N4V incorporates advanced engineering features and innovations. It is equipped with a rotary type automatic work changer (AWC) as standard. The automatic tool changer (25 tools) allows fixed address to tools a maximum of 7.8" long and 4.4 pounds. Tools 3.1" in diameter can be accomodated. The ATC magazine is mounted closely to the machining area enable the ATC armless mechanism to realize fast tool changes (tool-to-tool 1.5 sec.). Designed to eliminate tool and workpiece interference and to reduc e chip and coolant contamination using a protective ATC shutter. The tool change time is 3.0 seconds, chip-to-chip. Main spindle RPM is 12,000. The X, Y and Z axes are protected from chips and coolant is separated from the machining area. The X & Y axes drive motors are 4 HP and the Z axis drive motor is 5.3 HP. All 3 axes rapid traverse rate is 2,362" per min. and cutting feed rate is 394" per min.
